I Want To Want Less

I want to want less.

I know it’s a bad start if I want it

I have to not want to want less

to want less

then I’m left not wanting less on the right foot

“We see things not as they are, but as we are”

says every abstract painting ever crying to be seen by anyone brave enough to try

then, who knows the mystery of the human heart

if a donkey can be a princess to a man in love

when one sees a mess of paint

and another sees the brilliance of the painter

knowing where the art starts

and where the artist departs.

That’s the jester’s role. Point at the king and say: you’re naked! And then the king says it’s your turn, and then the party really gets started.
